Position Overview:

This role involves a comprehensive review and reconciliation of shareholder, cash, and security positions across various systems, ensuring that discrepancies are promptly addressed and thoroughly documented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts detailed reconciliations of shareholder, cash, and security positions among Shareholder Services, Fund Accounting, and Custody systems.
  • Provides support to team members in fulfilling their responsibilities and assists with additional requests as necessary.
  • Monitors daily corporate actions and disseminates relevant information to impacted institutions via email.
  • Submits reorganization details to the appropriate administrator, client, or investment manager.
  • Prepares and circulates notifications regarding voluntary actions.
  • Collects administrative and client feedback on voluntary action memoranda, ensuring proper voting at the depository.
  • Documents processes and creates checklists for each action to maintain internal controls and audit trails.
  • Facilitates the delivery of assets for exchange to the designated agent bank.
  • Handles capital change transactions on Addvantage in accordance with established internal standards.
  • Reconciles Custodian positions with Addvantage positions post-reorganization.
  • Processes both inbound and outbound Cost Basis Transfer Statements, including asset distribution transfers and tax lot adjustments.
  • Ensures organized files and retention of written documentation regarding transfers.

Income Processing Duties:

  • Reconciles and processes daily income files efficiently.
  • Reviews and manages workflows for requests from internal departments and external clients.
  • Proactively monitors income projections, balancing accumulated totals and adjusting income maps for accuracy.
  • Analyzes client taxability for income related to foreign securities.
  • Delivers high-quality, accurate administrative and routine reporting to management.
  • Participates in monthly departmental storage procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience is preferred.

Desired Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial sector.
  • Familiarity with Middle Office and Custody operations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Corporate Actions.
  • Experience with DTC processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in office equipment and applications specific to trust systems and processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and the public.
