We are currently seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on cultivating relationships within the hospitals located in the Boston South area. The primary aim is to build a robust account management connection with our Nursing, CCRC, and Intake Teams, while also understanding and anticipating the needs of our member hospitals to identify growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand accounts and territory to achieve or surpass quarterly and annual performance targets.
  • Effectively promote NELC's offerings to all referral sources, including physicians, clinical staff, and case managers.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create tailored plans for member engagement and ensure ongoing positive contributions to NELC's financial health.
  • Review performance metrics with hospital department heads to maintain member engagement and compliance with by-law requirements.
  • Set and meet quarterly performance goals in alignment with member-specific strategies.
  • Engage in hospital committees to strengthen relationships and promote NELC services.
  • Develop marketing initiatives within member institutions to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned hospitals.
  • Work closely with clinical teams to establish specific goals for account management.
  • Maintain open communication with referral sources to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management regarding partnership development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in health product sales or home infusion therapy sales is necessary.
  • Management experience is essential.

Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with federal and state fraud and abuse laws is required.
  • Understanding of HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
