Responsibilities- Perform opening and closing clinic duties, including preparing the waiting area and reception counter for the day.
- Greet patients, check them in for appointments, and verify their insurance information.
- Scan documents into our electronic health record and maintain the tidiness of the waiting area and reception counter throughout the day.
- Check schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
- Respond to designated tasks in the electronic health record and order clinic office supplies.
- Sell and track cosmetic products, distribute mail, and prepare for next day scheduled appointments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity preferred.
- Proficient in basic computer functions and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and type a minimum of 40 wpm.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
