About the Role

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of quality patient care, while also driving revenue and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Collect, organize, and share data with relevant staff to drive continuous quality improvement of operations.
  • Patient Experience: Maintain awareness of factors that positively and negatively impact the patient experience, including personnel interactions in the work environment.
  • Leadership: Direct and motivate stakeholders to deliver high-quality patient care and an exceptional patient experience.
  • Financial Management: Monitor site and department expenses to maximize cost-effectiveness of operations.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews for direct reports, provide counseling and disciplinary action as needed, and prepare documentation.
  • Policy Implementation: Implement organization policies and procedures for the site, including requirements of funding sources and grant programs.
  • Productivity Monitoring: Monitor site productivity and make recommendations to improve patient show rate, patient flow, provider productivity, and redesign implementation.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with the Clinical Team Leader, Operations Director, and Director of Nursing to resolve scheduling or other site-specific problems.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Schedule, prepare agendas, and facilitate monthly site operations meetings, including minutes and follow-up items.
  • Staff Management: Ensure site supervisors conduct regular department meetings with site staff, maintain records of agenda, minutes, and attendance.
  • Program Monitoring: Participate in monthly operations meetings to review results of audits and track specific programs or issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in supervisory, departmental, and special task forces as appropriate, share pertinent information with subordinates, support staff, providers, and administration.
  • Encounter Tracking: Track and reconcile all encounters for billing purposes.
  • Cash Management: Monitor daily cash receipts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Staff Development: Manage support staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure departments provide effective and efficient service to all stakeholders, including patients and providers.
  • Specialty Coordination: Coordinate with specialty-specific coordinators to implement and monitor the effectiveness of specialty services at the site.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster effective communication and teamwork among staff to enhance employee and patient satisfaction.
  • Staff Development and Evaluation: Assess training needs, promote developmental activities, conduct department meetings, and evaluate staff performance against job description criteria.
Requirements
  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or four years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: Three years of supervisory experience required; healthcare setting preferred.
  • Project Leap Completion: Project Leap completion preferred.
  • Bilingualism: Bilingual (English/Spanish) or (English/Arabic) preferred.
Additional Qualifications
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior composition, typing, and proofreading skills.
  • Interpretation Skills: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Payer Knowledge: Knowledgeable about and experience with various payer sources, such as Medi-cal, Medi-caid, etc., preferred.
  • Task Management: Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Planning and Organization: Excellent planning and organizational ability.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to work with highly confidential information in a professional and ethical manner.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing: Standing for sustained periods of time.
  • Walking: Walking potentially for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
  • Lifting: Lifting, raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.
  • Exertion: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Computer Use: Ability to view and read information on a computer, in a computer terminal.
  • Environmental Conditions: May be exposed to adverse environmental conditions found in a typical healthcare clinic setting.
Salary Range

$88,200-$114,400 annually, depending on experience.
