Job Title: Director of Talent Acquisition

Hendall Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment efforts. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract and retain top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a full-cycle recruiting process to ensure timely and effective hiring of high-quality candidates.
  • Manage the annual employee performance review process to ensure fair and accurate evaluations.
  • Oversee the employee progressive disciplinary process, including interface with outside counsel when necessary.
  • Improve our recruiting practices to enhance the candidate experience and increase hiring efficiency.
  • Lead a team of recruiters and administrative staff to achieve recruitment goals and objectives.
  • Leverage multiple sourcing strategies and channels to provide high-quality candidates for open positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and goals.
  • Provide insight to hiring managers regarding salary expectations for hiring needs.
  • Prepare screening questions for requirements and conduct phone and/or preliminary interviews.
  • Oversee and/or schedule interviews for hiring managers and prepare employment offer letters.
  • Interface with the employee benefits department to coordinate onboarding of new staff.
  • Maintain strong internal customer and candidate relationships.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system with accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and candidate sourcing.
  • Comply with all federal and state laws and company policies regarding recruitment and selection processes, and termination practices.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of technical recruiting experience.
  • 5 years of managing HR or recruiting staff.
  • AA in Human Resources or related field (BS preferred).
  • Experience in government contracting and government contract recruiting.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal HR compliance.
  • ATS experience (ISolved preferred).
  • Excellent relationship building and client services focused.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Flexible, versatile, and works well under pressure.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements.
