Job Opportunity

FUCHS Lubricants Co. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving business development and sales growth within the Virginia and West Virginia region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve agreed-upon sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and engineering-level accounts.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Sell and promote FUCHS' product line to customers, highlighting the benefits and proper selection and application of products.
  • Represent FUCHS at regional industry events and tradeshows, collaborating with Marketing and other stakeholders.
  • Retain and enhance existing client relationships through rapport-building and identifying customer demands, trends, and potential threats.
  • Establish new business through referrals and identifying potential future customers.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge on product lines and assist customers in product trials, technological advancements, and process improvements.
  • Conduct onsite product training for clients through product presentations, hands-on interactions, and utilizing available product management team and field application engineers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business.
  • At least 3 years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products, preferably in the Lubricants or Chemicals industries.
  • High level of personal drive and self-motivation with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to set day-to-day priorities within overall priority listing, working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • CRM experience, preferably with Salesforce.
