Job Title: Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at Dominion Payroll. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering technical presentations to customers, collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements, and generating high-quality upsell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products or services to customers
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
  • Generate high-quality upsell opportunities and follow up to secure and renew orders
  • Discuss equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers
  • Help customers troubleshoot problems with installed products
  • Recommend improved or upgraded materials and machinery to meet customer needs
  • Research and modify products to meet customers' technical requirements
  • Identify areas for improvement and communicate issues and solutions to management
  • Collaborate with product development teams to enhance offerings based on market feedback
  • Develop and conduct training programs for new sales representatives
  • Create individual coaching plans for sales team members
  • Train other members of the sales team on technical aspects of products and services
  • Continuously update training materials to reflect product changes and market trends
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or related role
  • Strong technical knowledge of relevant products and industry trends
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer visits and training sessions

  • Advanced degree in a relevant technical field
  • Certifications in sales methodologies or training techniques
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and virtual training delivery
