ROLE SUMMARY
The Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer position is a hands-on, highly technical role focused on the implementation and management of our IT cloud infrastructure, which encompasses access control, server management, and various SaaS applications. This position demands extensive experience in user management, cloud infrastructure, and related domains. You will collaborate closely with Information Security, IT Systems Engineers, Human Resources, and other key stakeholders across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of various SaaS applications throughout the organization.
  • Manage user access and permissions within SaaS platforms, ensuring optimal security and data integrity.
  • Address performance issues and service disruptions effectively.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot SaaS application issues, partnering with vendors or internal teams for resolution.
  • Establish best practices for data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity for SaaS solutions.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in SaaS technologies, suggesting enhancements or new solutions as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate SaaS platforms with other organizational systems and tools.
  • Optimize resource utilization to prevent over-provisioning or underuse.
  • Collaborate with Information Security to maintain a balanced security posture while ensuring ease of access for users.
  • Design, develop, and implement systems that enhance the security of our platforms.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify, track, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration with diverse teams.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 6 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining SaaS applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SaaS administration, with a solid understanding of cloud-based technologies and platforms.
  • Proficient in managing popular SaaS applications such as Okta, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Proofpoint, etc.
  • Familiarity with identity management systems and single sign-on (SSO) solutions.
  • Ability to automate repetitive tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
