We are looking for YOU This senior-level electromechanical engineering position will focus on investigating current and pioneering new solar security technologies.
You will collaborate with a team dedicated to researching and implementing solutions for our product line. Your expertise will be crucial in transforming our electrical and mechanical engineering processes by addressing complex hardware engineering challenges.
Your success will hinge on your ability to generate innovative ideas and actively contribute within a cross-functional team.
You will encounter various electrical and mechanical challenges, providing you with the opportunity to drive solutions from concept through design, prototyping, development, and engineering change orders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your involvement will encompass the electrical and mechanical design for the following products:
- Live Unit Edge Computation Platform: Control board and other electronic components, power distribution system, network communication system.
- Mobile Power Unit: Lead-acid battery banks, solar panels, smart generator, charge controller system.
- Trailer Mechanical Design: Frame, mast, and storage box design and assembly.
- Design for manufacturing and internationalization.
- Hardware design and tamper protection.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Creo and Windchill is preferred.
- Prior fabrication and design experience is essential.
- Experience with electrical control systems and circuit design.
- Familiarity with PCB design, embedded systems, ethernet communication, and FCC regulations.
- Experience in schematic design and manufacturing documentation.
- Product and team management experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of FCC, NEC, and UL standards is advantageous.
