Senior Director of Strategic Field Partnerships

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Strategic Field Partnerships to lead our team in optimizing DIRECTV's field partner relationships. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing and driving strategic initiatives to enhance partner performance, maximize revenue opportunities, and ensure alignment with business unit objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize partner relationships, performance, and revenue generation.
- Oversee the negotiation and management of partner contracts and commercial agreements.
- Drive innovation in partner management processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Analyze business unit data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for partner performance and team effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor a team of Strategic Field Partner Management professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
- Manage budget and resource allocation for the Strategic Field Partner Management team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent business experience; MBA a plus.
- ~7+ years of experience in partner management, business development, or related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- ~ Proven track record of successfully managing and growing partner relationships in a B2B environment.
- ~ Strong understanding of contract negotiation, commercial agreements, and partnership structures.
- ~ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- ~ Outstanding leadership and team management abilities, including experience in hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.
- ~ Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and implement process improvements.
- ~ Experience in change management and navigating complex organizational structures.
About DIRECTV: DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. It is the company's policy to offer pay that is competitive with other employers in the local market. The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Travel Requirements: This role requires travel up to 10% of the time for partner meetings and industry events. This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.
