GENERAL FUNCTION

The Retail Store Leader serves as a hands-on manager, executing all store operations while also guiding and mentoring the team. This role involves coaching, developing, and motivating staff to ensure that every team member embodies the Sunglass Hut ethos.

The Retail Store Leader fosters an environment where exceptional service is paramount, embodying The Sunglass Hut Experience. Their leadership, enthusiasm, and quick decision-making inspire every associate to provide an unparalleled customer experience that drives sales.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Employs The Sunglass Hut Experience tools to consistently meet sales targets and corporate goals.
  • Formulates the store's strategic plan to achieve financial objectives.
  • Boosts sales by identifying opportunities to meet both personal and store targets.
  • Leads by example, coaching, developing, and inspiring the team to improve store performance.
  • Believes in the philosophy that people work for people, fostering career growth, teamwork, and talent retention in a development-oriented environment.
  • Networks, recruits, hires to meet staffing needs, and trains using the onboarding resources provided as part of The Sunglass Hut Experience.
  • Encourages team development through personalized growth plans.
  • Creates an inspiring and motivating workplace that reflects the brand's integrity.
  • Establishes an EMOTIONAL CONNECTION within the store team that translates into sales and ensures every associate consistently delivers The Sunglass Hut Experience.
  • Spends the majority of time actively engaging on the sales floor.
  • Continuously coaches and develops the team to ensure the consistent execution of The Sunglass Hut Experience.
  • Builds customer relationships through meaningful interactions and feedback.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador for Sunglass Hut.
  • Enhances the Sunglass Hut brand by adhering to brand standards.
  • Stays informed about products and remains curious about new merchandise and fashion trends.
  • Motivates, coaches, and inspires the team, ensuring they are exemplary brand ambassadors.
  • Ensures flawless execution of operational policies and procedures while maintaining brand standards.
  • Continuously develops the team to ensure retail excellence.
  • Communicates information regarding promotions, contests, and incentives to the team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior leadership experience
  • Proven expertise in all aspects of store operations
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to apply critical thinking for the effective execution of operational components

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in customer service and/or retail

Employee compensation is determined by various factors, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage laws. Additionally, a competitive bonus and/or commission plan may be offered, complementing a comprehensive total rewards package.
