Role Responsibilities

We are in search of a skilled Territory Account Manager to enhance our expanding Sales organization. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, implementing effective sales strategies to surpass targets within a designated portfolio of commercial accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surpass measurable sales goals while extending the Arista brand within Fortune 1000 accounts and developing new client relationships.
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach with key stakeholders to address the business needs related to hybrid cloud computing and outdated IT systems across the Arista product suite, including Software-Driven Open Networking switching platforms and high-performance Data Centers.
  • Engage with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-level executives to articulate Arista's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with Arista systems engineers to design and present compelling solutions that minimize total ownership costs.
  • Partner with technology collaborators to identify potential clients and showcase best-in-class solutions.
  • Establish and nurture essential channel relationships within your territory.
  • Develop strategic and tactical account plans based on regular business reviews with prospects and clients.
  • Conduct demand generation initiatives such as informative sessions and technology forums.
  • Work alongside Arista colleagues on marketing strategies and best practices.
  • Stay informed about technology partner solutions, competitive offerings, and industry trends.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset and a proven record in technology sales, including relationship-building with existing clients and penetrating new accounts. You should be an influencer capable of acting as a trusted advisor to deliver substantial business value to both end users and key stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

  • A BS/BA degree or equivalent, along with a minimum of 5 years of technology sales experience.
  • A demonstrated history of direct selling to target accounts within the assigned territory and consistently exceeding sales goals.
  • A relevant background in the data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) industry from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user is essential.
  • A strong network and established relationships within the territory.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport at all organizational levels.
  • Previous sales experience and technical knowledge in areas such as Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure, or Cloud computing.
