About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at GCubed Technology. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver projects.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and team members, to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure all projects are delivered in compliance with industry standards for 24x7 operations and DoD security requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain performance metrics and reports to measure project success and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in planning, directing, and managing IT projects
  • Supervisory experience in a similar environment
  • Knowledge of industry standards for 24x7 operations
  • Familiarity with DoD security requirements
  • Experience with help desk support
  • Understanding of service level agreements and monitoring
  • Experience in a DoD IT setting
  • Managing performance-based contracts
  • ITIL framework knowledge
  • Security + Certification
