Position Summary

As the Head of Event Sales Management at AccorHotels, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding service and culinary experiences for various events, both on-site and off-site. You will serve as a key representative of our premium offerings, collaborating with multiple departments to ensure client satisfaction and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service to all clients.
  • Overseeing and managing all operations related to the Catering department, ensuring adherence to service standards.
  • Handling all aspects of catering, from initial booking through to execution and conference services.
  • Preparing and managing an annual budget in a responsible manner.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients before, during, and after events to encourage repeat business.
  • Conducting site inspections as necessary.
  • Developing annual business strategies for the department in collaboration with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Ensuring accurate and efficient preparation and distribution of function bookings, group resumes, and event contracts.
  • Maintaining the condition of meeting and function rooms, coordinating with food and beverage outlets regarding reservations and client flow.
  • Collaborating closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to prepare monthly forecasts.
  • Balancing operational, administrative, and team needs effectively.
  • Adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Following all safety protocols.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Salary Range: 133K to 177K USD Gross Annually.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven leadership experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications is required.
  • A degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Highly responsible and dependable.
  • Ability to maintain composure and courtesy while focusing on guest needs.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shifts.
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
Visa Requirements:
Must possess proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
