Position Overview:
The Head of Enterprise Sales is a pivotal role at Airwallex.
  • This position will be hybrid, based in a major metropolitan area.
As the Head of Enterprise Sales, you will concentrate on marketing our FX & Payment API solutions to platforms within the Gig Economy sector. You will leverage your extensive network and industry expertise to achieve immediate results.

Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to meet volume and revenue targets, with substantial commission and equity opportunities for achieving these goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire new enterprise clients across North America utilizing your existing connections and experience.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing, focusing on both new clients and expanding existing accounts.
  • Identify new companies, use cases, and prospects through research, supported by our strategy and sales enablement teams.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels and across various functions and cultures.
  • Provide regular updates against KPIs, metrics, and targets.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience and onboarding process for new clients.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and commercial contracts in collaboration with legal, finance, and strategy teams through to execution.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline while establishing best practices that will serve as the foundation for the US sales team.
Candidate Profile:
  • A high-performing sales professional with a proven history of new business solution selling, preferably within FX or payment sales in the Gig Economy sector.
  • Results-driven and accountable for achieving key outcomes, including KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Motivated by Airwallex's mission and dedicated to realizing it in the US market.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of independently managing your responsibilities.
  • Willing to travel as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience selling complex technology products to enterprise clients (preferably with experience in fintech).
  • A broad existing network of key decision-makers for payment solutions within the target Gig Economy sector.
  • A technical mindset, with prior experience in selling complex, API-driven solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills and an organized approach to work, coupled with excellent communication and solution-selling abilities tailored to customer needs.
  • Experience in identifying and influencing key decision-makers and stakeholders.
