We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at A Head for Profits. As an Office Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:- Process payroll functions, including checking hourly employee hours and accounting for holiday pay
- Assist with Worker's Compensation claims reporting and FSA, FMLA, and 401k enrollment
- Provide payroll reporting to the accounting department and terminate employees in our HRIS
- Reconcile invoices from Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and communicate any issues with the HR department
- High school or Associate's degree
- Two years' experience in HR functions preferred
- Experience in HR-related software
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Working knowledge of Gmail, MS Office, and HR software programs
- Starting pay of $18 - $21 per hour commensurate on experience
- A benefits package valued at more than $10k, including a 401(k) plan with company matching, medical coverage plans, and paid time off (PTO) programs
- Paid training and all the tools and resources you'll need to be successful
- Cell phone and laptop provided
