The Manager of Non-Profit Banking is responsible for developing and overseeing nonprofit credit portfolios ranging from $500 million to $70 million in global exposure. In this capacity, you will assess loan requests from non-profit organizations with revenues typically between $5 million and $1 billion, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of loan policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business by identifying and nurturing high-quality revenue-generating sales opportunities.
  • Collect credit application data related to business needs, aspirations, capabilities, and earnings to ascertain loan requirements.
  • Clarify loan options, interest rates, terms, and collateral necessities.
  • Guide and mentor a team to cultivate a robust, long-term prospect portfolio.
  • Establish and sustain a referral network with internal and external centers of influence for new business prospects.
  • Assume responsibility for the overall credit quality of loans generated and reviewed by the team.
  • Efficiently manage the timely resolution of exceptions, renewals, reviews, and the credit process while adhering to all policies and guidelines, ensuring risk rating accuracy.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Commercial Banking, ideally within the Government, Non-Profit, Healthcare, or Education sectors.
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) and executive presence.
  • A proven track record of fostering new business growth and developing comprehensive client relationships.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to comprehend and interpret accounting, credit, and finance principles.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations governing commercial banking activities.
  • High ethical standards and personal integrity.
