Position Overview
The Team Leader for Government, Not-for-Profit, & Healthcare is responsible for developing and managing nonprofit credits ranging from $500M to $70MM in global exposure. In this capacity, you will:
  • Evaluate nonprofit banking loan requests with revenues typically between $5M to $1B, utilizing a thorough understanding of loan policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Achieve new business by identifying and maintaining quality revenue-generating sales opportunities.
  • Gather credit application information to assess business needs and determine loan requirements.
  • Explain loan options, rates, terms, and collateral requirements to clients.
  • Coach and lead a team to cultivate a high-quality, long-term prospect portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain a referral network with internal and external centers of influence for new business opportunities.
  • Take ownership of the overall credit quality of loans generated and reviewed within the team.
  • Effectively manage the timely resolution of exceptions, renewals, reviews, and the credit process while adhering to all policies and guidelines.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Commercial Banking, preferably within the Government, Non-Profit, Healthcare, and/or Education sectors.
  • Exemplary communication skills (both verbal and written) and a strong executive presence.
  • A proven track record of driving new business growth and developing well-rounded client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret accounting, credit, and finance principles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations governing commercial banking activities.
  • High ethical standards and personal integrity.
