About the Role

McGuireWoods is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join its Business Development team in Charlotte. As a key member of the team, you will support finance and financial institutions-focused departments, industry teams, and practice groups to develop and execute clear strategies and business plans. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with attorneys to develop business plans and marketing strategies, driving client targeting, and providing strategic guidance on business development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business plans and marketing strategies in collaboration with attorneys
  • Drive client targeting and provide strategic guidance on business development activities
  • Collaborate with junior colleagues as a mentor and team lead

Requirements
  • Five or more years of business development and/or marketing experience within a law firm or comparable professional services organization
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Strong project management experience and strategic thinking skills
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
