Position Summary
The Program Manager will take charge of overseeing various initiatives within RealTruck's New Product Development framework. This role involves leading a diverse team to ensure timely delivery of projects while adhering to budget constraints and maintaining high-quality standards. The individual will be responsible for monitoring all project activities and effectively communicating with all relevant stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring that program objectives are met and timelines are adhered to.
- Employ Program Management tools to accurately track project deliverables.
- Facilitate weekly meetings with cross-functional teams to guarantee successful project outcomes for both internal and external clients.
- Engage in problem-solving discussions with the team to explore solutions during challenging scenarios.
- Ensure compliance with corporate New Product Development (NPD) process requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Category Management team and other departments to define project scope, deliverables, necessary resources, budget, and timelines.
- Lead discussions to resolve issues as they arise within projects.
- Exhibit the ability to influence stakeholders involved in the project.
- Identify essential requirements from cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Assess, evaluate, and mitigate program risks, while generating reports for management and stakeholders.
- Present updates to leadership for project approvals and during monthly reporting sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree is mandatory, ideally in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in program management is essential. Experience in aftermarket and/or OEM products within the automotive sector is advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and working within matrix organizations.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of a gated process approach to project management.
- Proficient in standard software applications (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and familiar with various web-based tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate information to management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of common business practices, financial calculations, and tracking program costs.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to identify critical requirements from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Competence in analyzing, evaluating, and addressing program risks, while producing comprehensive reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ability to drive cross-functional teams to achieve program deliverables while adhering to RealTruck's New Product Development Process.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Occasional travel may be necessary, approximately 10-20%, to meet supplier and customer needs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
