About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Information Security Analyst to join our team at Interactive Process Technology LLC. As a Cybersecurity Information Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and Analyze Network Activities: Investigate a diverse collection of network activities in cyberspace in support of command, control, processes, and systems.
  • Risk Management: Develop a strategy to identify, evaluate, and minimize risks in the local cyberspace environment that are considered crucial for mission success.
  • Strategy Development: Create and implement strategies and techniques to merge and display relevant Mission Relevant Terrain Cyber (MRT-C), based on essential systems and network services.
  • Functional Mission Analysis: Assist with FMA-C, identifying, mapping, and developing a defense plan to safeguard MRT-C.
  • Database Management: Maintain databases to monitor systems, modify user boundaries, and create indexing to make searches easier.
  • Policy Development: Review and provide recommendations for establishing new or revised policies, procedures, objectives, and organization design for the staff, as necessary.
  • Network Alert Analysis: Receive and analyze network alerts from various sources within the enterprise and determine possible causes of such alerts.
  • Vulnerability Assessment: Define/perform vulnerability assessments leveraging threat analysis to scope/prioritize efforts.
  • Incident Documentation: Document and escalate incidents and perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting.
Requirements
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification: Possess a DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification.
  • Education and Experience: Hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information system engineering, or related technical discipline in cybersecurity or information technology, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work experience.
  • Functional Mission Analysis Experience: Have 5+ years of combined experience in Functional Mission Analysis in Cyberspace processes and associated mapping and defense of Mission-Relevant Terrain in Cyberspace.
  • IT Cybersecurity Principles: Possess knowledge of IT cybersecurity principles, concepts, and methods to investigate, analyze, and respond to cyber incidents within a computer network environment or enclave.
  • IT Security Principles: Have knowledge of IT security principles, policies, products, and services to assess risk factors and advise on vulnerability to attack from a variety of sources and procedures and methods for protection of systems and applications.
  • Telecommunications Principles: Possess knowledge of commonly applied telecommunications principles, concepts, and methodologies, operating characteristics and capabilities of systems, media, equipment, and related software systems, processes, and procedures to assess the efficiency of operations and make recommendations involving equipment and system integrity.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience: Possess 10 years of DoD or USAF experience as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer or Officer with demonstrated leadership abilities.
