You will engage in direct patient care, supported by a dedicated coach who will guide you toward professional success. This program is designed to enhance your clinical judgment, communication skills, and advanced nursing competencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage in a residency curriculum tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Provide direct nursing care under established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prioritize patient care activities based on acuity, preferences, and available resources.
  • Implement interventions to ensure continuity of safe and effective patient care.
  • Respond to health risks and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Seek guidance when needed and adhere to hospital policies.
  • Utilize effective communication strategies to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Document patient care accurately in medical records.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.


Certifications:

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.

Additional certifications may be required based on the clinical area of practice.


Work Experience:

New graduates or RNs with less than one year of experience in acute care settings are encouraged to apply.


Physical Requirements:

This position requires full physical mobility, including lifting and handling patients, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Personal Protective Equipment:

Adherence to Standard Precautions and the use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
