Job Summary:
Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse Resident to join our Medical Telemetry Unit. As a RN Resident, you will work alongside a team of experienced nurses to provide high-quality patient care and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including those with peg tubes, foley catheters, central lines, and tracheostomies.
- Participate in a residency core curriculum to develop your skills and knowledge in nursing practice.
- Establish and revise priorities for patient care based on individual learning needs and resource availability.
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.
- Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Document patient care in medical records.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
