Administrative Assistant to the Dean

This position supports the administrative needs of the Dean's Office at Loyola University Chicago. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Dean's calendar, ensuring deadlines and events are maintained and documented.
- Liaise with the Dean, Associate/Assistant Deans, department chairs, directors, faculty, staff, and students.
- Prepare and disseminate sensitive and confidential correspondence, reports, and minutes.
- Compose routine correspondence for the Dean's signature.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external constituents.
- Arrange meetings, manage travel, and oversee event planning.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of administrative experience, preferably in higher education.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Internet applications.
