As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will lead our on-site operations, overseeing project execution and managing field personnel. Your responsibilities will include direct leadership in production, as well as coordination with subcontractors, inspectors, designers, and clients to uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship and efficiency. This role offers a unique combination of hands-on carpentry and leadership, with opportunities for career advancement into higher supervisory positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily subcontractor scheduling and field operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to effectively plan and execute projects.
  • Work closely with the owner and Office Manager to address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Interpret plans and instructions, performing tasks such as finish carpentry, framing, crown molding, window/door casings, baseboards, fixtures, and hardware installation.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to ensure precision and understand various construction methods, including demolition, framing, basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, tiling, drywall, taping, finishing, painting, flooring, finish carpentry, window, door, and siding installation.
  • Guide field personnel to ensure timely project completion.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards as per original plans and specifications.
  • Manage all on-site construction activities.
  • Ensure proper job site signage and compliance with safety requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience, particularly in kitchen and bathroom remodeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential construction.
  • Proficient in gathering information, preparing reports, and communicating effectively.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and managing complex, detailed projects.
  • Familiarity with Google Office Suite.
  • Experience with job management software for tracking material needs and project updates.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
  • Able to read and interpret drawings and construction specifications.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs independently.
  • Possess a complete set of hand and basic power tools, reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken, written, and computer literacy).
  • Strong team player with leadership capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Full-time position
  • Starting wage of $40.00 per hour, based on experience.
