Signet Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated professional to provide essential therapeutic services within our Behavioral Health Services. Our organization is committed to utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches to deliver high-quality care to individuals in need throughout the region. Our comprehensive services encompass brief therapy, group therapy, addiction treatment, medication management, Intensive Outpatient Treatment Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and integrated care for adults with co-occurring disorders.

We are currently offering a Full-time position for an Addiction Therapist, providing unique learning opportunities within a supportive environment. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Candidates must possess licensure in the District of Columbia, specifically LICSW or LPC, along with experience in adult addiction services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver therapeutic services at the Outpatient Clinic, including individual therapy, group therapy, assessments, and addiction-related services, while supporting PHP and IOP outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals across the network and community treatment teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of clinical services, assessments, referrals, and other related entries within our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Conduct case presentations with the clinical team and prescribers.
  • Proactively plan for patient step-downs and discharge, ensuring treatment plans and diagnostic assessments are up-to-date.
  • Participate in regular interdisciplinary team meetings and supervision regarding operational and administrative functions.
  • Work closely with the operations and leadership team within the clinic.
  • Engage in company-sponsored training to maintain licensure and support professional development.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that align with the role and responsibilities.
Qualifications

Essential Experience and Licensure:
  • Active LICSW or LPC licensure in the District of Columbia is required, or eligibility for endorsement.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in community mental health, outpatient clinics, or addiction programs is necessary. A candidate with LICSW or LPC licensure and a CAC II is preferred.
  • Experience in accessing local community resources and facilitating group therapy sessions.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, and exhibit strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills, initiative, and time management capabilities.
  • Proficient typing and computer skills are essential, particularly with the increase in virtual services.
  • Capacity to act as a subject matter expert in addiction-related issues within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
Salary Range:

$80,000 to $98,000 Annually
