Senior Technology Specialist in Wi-Fi CPE Automation

Infosys is looking for a Lead Automation Engineer for Wi-Fi CPE Solutions. In this pivotal role, you will engage with essential stakeholders and leverage your technical expertise throughout various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Gathering, Application Architecture design, and overall Design. Your contributions will be vital in developing high-level design documents. Additionally, you will produce high-quality code deliverables for a specific module, oversee validation for all testing types, and assist with activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
  • Create high-level design artifacts and ensure quality code deliverables.
  • Lead validation efforts across various testing methodologies.
  • Support implementation and transition activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of education.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 4 years of experience in conducting manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of Wi-Fi CPE devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, C#) for developing automation test scripts tailored for broadband gateways.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Tool/API testing on network devices.
  • Strong comprehension of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi standards).
  • Experience and willingness to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • Familiarity with performance testing and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, iPerf) is advantageous.
  • Exposure to RDKB is a plus.
  • Experience with the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
