Lead Automation Engineer for Wi-Fi CPE Solutions

Infosys is looking for a Lead Automation Engineer for Wi-Fi CPE Solutions. In this role, you will engage with key stakeholders and leverage your technical expertise throughout various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Gathering, Application Architecture formulation, and Design. You will be instrumental in producing high-level design documentation and ensuring the delivery of quality code for a specific module. Additionally, you will oversee validation processes for all testing types and support activities associated with implementation, transition, and warranty phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in requirements elicitation and define application architecture.
  • Create high-level design artifacts and deliver quality code.
  • Lead testing validation and support implementation activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 4 years of experience in manual and automated testing to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of Wi-Fi CPE devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, C#) for developing automation test scripts tailored for broadband gateways.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Tool/API testing on network devices.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi standards).
  • Experience in a Global delivery environment.
  • Familiarity with performance testing and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, iPerf) is advantageous.
  • Exposure to RDKB is a plus.
  • Experience with the implementation and optimization of CICD pipelines is beneficial.
