About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our Amazon Flex team. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for defining, owning, and driving technical workflows that reduce the manual work of core team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, own, and drive technical workflows that reduce manual work of core team members
- Improve code efficacy by designing appropriate monitors, alarms, and testing suites
- Leverage high-judgement in determining risks, trade-offs, opportunity cost, and benefits in prioritizing work for our 3P tech partner
- Lead a team of 30+ through quarterly planning and hold all stakeholders accountable to a high throughput by developing flashes, monthly business updates, and other mechanisms
- Influence strategy and outcomes across Last and Middle Mile programs
Requirements
- Strong program management background
- High judgement and follow-through
- Well-rounded background in current web technologies
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems
- 7+ years of technical program management experience
