About the Role

As a Principal Technical Product Manager, Search Experience Science, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative search experiences that improve the shopping experience of millions of Amazon customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver customer-facing features that leverage advanced AI and machine learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a product vision that aligns with Amazon's overall business strategy
  • Lead a team of engineers and scientists to design and deliver large-scale features that improve search relevance and user experience
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Partner with UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the search experience
  • Develop and maintain technical requirements and specifications for search features
  • Work with data scientists to analyze customer behavior and develop data-driven insights to inform product decisions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on search or AI
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale features
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
