Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Administration
  • Maintain team member files in compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Assist in addressing inquiries from employers and third parties concerning current and former employees.
  • Prepare various communications and reports related to HR programs and administrative functions.
  • Support the Human Resources Director with specialized projects, including research and data analysis.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture Development
    • Gather employee feedback to inform leadership on workplace improvements.
    • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement recognition programs that align with company values and performance metrics.
Recruitment Assistance
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring consistency in onboarding materials.
  • Oversee the background check process for new employees.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries regarding job openings and application statuses.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Employee Relations
  • Assist team members and management with inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Engage in practices that foster positive employer-employee relationships and enhance employee morale.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding personnel matters.
  • Support the semi-annual employee survey process.
Benefits Administration
  • Address basic employee inquiries regarding benefits.
  • Participate in annual open enrollment and new hire enrollment processes.
  • Assist in reconciling monthly benefit billing.
Payroll Support
  • Assist the Payroll Administrator in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in data preparation and auditing post-processing.
  • Respond to basic payroll inquiries from team members and other departments.
Supervisory Role:

None.

Judgment and Decision-Making:

Regularly exercise independent judgment within established guidelines and company policies.

Work Environment:

Office setting.

Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a college degree or a mix of education, training, or experience that equips the individual with the necessary knowledge and skills for this role. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources administration is required. Experience with Paycom is preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Professionalism and confidentiality are crucial, with a strong focus on customer service. Solid understanding of business English, spelling, punctuation, and office practices.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to demonstrate courtesy and professionalism in all interactions. Strong organizational skills with a focus on maintaining accurate records. Must be service-oriented and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shift focus as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with the capacity to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
