Job Summary

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Trainee Affairs Manager in the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office at UCSF Fresno. This position is responsible for managing the administrative aspects of graduate medical education, including program administration, operations, and accreditation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply extensive knowledge of GME policies, regulations, and accreditation requirements to develop and implement efficient processes and procedures.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in resident, fellow, and non-MD trainee credentialing, appointments, and access to clinical systems.
  • Manage the appointments, files, and access to clinical systems and databases of all UCSF Fresno postgraduate trainees.
  • Design and implement policies and procedures relevant to trainee appointments, allowing trainees to provide patient care and participate in graduate medical education training programs.
  • Serve as the principal liaison between the GME Office and stakeholders to ensure efficient appointment, licensing, and credentialing processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • 5+ years of directly related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of health professions education theory and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and manage complex files and data.
