Your Role:
As an Agricultural Sales Consultant II, you will play a crucial role in expanding the market presence of Bayer's DEKALB/Asgrow seed products across designated territories. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving market share growth for Bayer's seed and traits business.
- Creating demand through collaboration with retail partners and key growers.
- Utilizing your sales and agricultural expertise to quickly adapt and excel in your role.
Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be expected to:
- Achieve sales targets in collaboration with fellow team members.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans, manage forecasts, and address inventory challenges.
- Act as a primary consultant to dealers, ensuring they effectively communicate the value of Bayer's products.
- Showcase product performance against competitors through in-depth product knowledge.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery and sales effectiveness.
- Analyze market trends and competitive data to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage expenses and resources in accordance with company policies.
- Mentor junior team members and interns as needed.
- Travel approximately 60% of the time within the designated territory.
