Job Title: Business Development Representative

Blue Yonder is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our manufacturing vertical team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use prospecting strategies to establish initial contact with prospects and build relationships with key decision-makers at targeted accounts.
  • Collect and analyze potential customers' critical business needs and challenges, identify and qualify their budget, timelines, business issues, and obstacles for handoff to the sales team.
  • Determine prospects' interest in and make recommendations on appropriate Blue Yonder product and services options.
  • Work the assigned territory and cover as many contacts as possible.
  • Participate in sales opportunity reviews and collaborate with the sales team to achieve quarterly lead generation goals.
  • Communicate effectively with sales management in-person, via phone, email, and regular updates in the system.
  • Use independent judgment to qualify and validate inbound and outbound leads via phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns.
  • Track relevant sales activities and admin in the sales system to maintain effective communication within the sales team.
  • Use professional experience to overcome objections and effectively communicate Blue Yonder's value propositions to key decision-makers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of inside sales/business development experience with a proven track record of exceptional lead generation results.
  • Personable, outgoing, and helpful, with the ability to initiate conversation and communications in an engaging manner.
  • Experience working in a team sales environment and handling projects with minimal direction.
  • Knowledge of SFA/CRM/Contact Manager software required, with experience a plus.
  • Manufacturing, Retail, or Supply Chain experience a huge plus.
