Position Summary

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a seasoned Water/Wastewater Project Manager and Team Lead with a proven track record in managing water and wastewater initiatives. This full-time role will focus on project execution, encompassing planning, assessment, design, permitting, and implementation for various treatment facilities, biosolids management, pumping stations, and pipelines for both private and municipal clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical engineering documentation, including reports, specifications, permits, cost estimates, and construction plans.

• Define project scope, schedule, and budget while supporting marketing efforts for new opportunities.

• Lead engineering assessments and planning tasks, including data collection and analysis, calculations, and feasibility evaluations.

• Conduct quality control checks on calculations and design drawings to ensure high standards.

• Create materials for reports, presentations, and permit applications, including information gathering and graphic preparation.

• Oversee field observations of construction processes to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

• Guide the design and development of plans and drawings from preliminary layouts to final documentation.

• Contribute to engineering design, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.

• Coordinate with project teams across various disciplines as necessary.

• Mentor junior staff members and uphold professional engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering, with 10-15 years of relevant experience, including at least six years in a project management role.

• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent technical writing and communication abilities, including public speaking proficiency.

• Familiarity with document processing and computer systems; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Experience with process, pump stations, and treatment plants is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; experience with Civil 3D is a plus.

• A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the relevant state is mandatory.
