We are seeking a Lead Water Resources Engineer to manage and deliver innovative water and wastewater initiatives within our organization. This role is essential for a professional with proven expertise in executing municipal projects.   • Ensure that our services align with and enhance our clients' strategic objectives;
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to strengthen our strategic initiatives to meet client demands;
  • Engage in local and regional conferences and networking events;
  • Contribute to BC's quality assurance, risk management, and project oversight processes;
  • Collaborate with project managers, client service managers, and marketing teams to support operations;
  • Foster connections with colleagues across the Desert Business Unit and other teams;
  • Oversee and coordinate project teams, including remote personnel, to ensure timely and effective project execution;
  • Promote a positive culture of organizational health and safety;
  • Lead teams in developing specifications, detailed design documents, reports, and engineering services during construction;
  • Provide technical guidance and quality control for planning and design documentation;
  • Utilize internal project management tools to ensure successful delivery of large-scale projects that meet or exceed success criteria; and,
  • Execute project activities related to master planning and modeling of water, wastewater, and conveyance systems.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental science (Civil, Environmental Engineering, etc.)
  • Professional registration in the relevant field, or the ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in project management and delivery
  • Previous supervisory experience with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with local, regional, and national teams, as well as mentor junior staff
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of thriving under tight deadlines; and,
  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to fostering employee well-being and inclusion
Salary Range: The anticipated starting salary for this position will be determined based on the employee's primary work location and may vary based on skills, experience, and education.
