Position Summary

The Manager of Water & Energy Services plays a crucial role within the growth division, primarily tasked with enhancing the clientele for Industrial Water Treatment solutions. This role also involves overseeing an established territory of boiler and cooling water accounts. A significant aspect of the position includes regular site visits to perform water quality assessments and generate technical service reports that advocate for industry best practices in system operations.

With an emphasis on continuous improvement and customer education, this role collaborates with clients to ensure optimal water and energy savings, leading to a substantial return on investment for the initiatives undertaken. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial mindset that drives performance while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction within the sector.

The primary focus of this position is on territory expansion, as the company is oriented towards growth. The role involves interaction with various levels of client organizations, including maintenance staff, plant engineers, and plant managers. As the territory expands, routine service responsibilities will transition to a Water Quality Analyst, allowing the Manager to concentrate on growth initiatives.

As part of the growth team, the Manager of Water & Energy Services will closely collaborate with the Inside Sales Group, Technology Experts, and the Executive Team, employing a highly cooperative approach to identify and secure market opportunities. The Global Water Technology product offerings are deemed essential services, especially as client systems require ongoing protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute opportunity-driven sales processes from prospecting to closing new and upgrade sales opportunities, documenting progress in a Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Manage water treatment programs at established client sites through regular audits, including obtaining and testing water samples with field laboratory equipment.
  • Address program non-conformances by troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions, which may involve equipment repairs or adjustments to chemical dosages.
  • Produce professionally written technical reports and proposals that advise on industry best practices for operating mechanical systems, focusing on extending equipment lifespan and achieving water and energy savings.
  • Conduct client meetings to communicate program outcomes in a manner that fosters rapport and encourages client engagement with their mechanical systems.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position necessitates daily travel to client and prospect locations using a company vehicle.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
