About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Environmental Specialist to oversee a wide variety of complex environmental projects in Nevada and California. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review work plans, technical documents, and reports for federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Prepare and review new clientele proposals for federal, state, and private industry.
  • Develop the scope of environmental assessment and remediation projects from our diverse portfolio and manage budgets.
  • Conduct regular field visits to drive project execution and ensure that appropriate technical and health and safety procedures are being followed.
  • Review and approve vendor work proposals and invoices.
  • Write project reports, analyze, and interpret data, and prepare final reports to be submitted for Senior and clients review.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in earth or environmental science related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in geological assessments, water supply, water treatment, environmental assessments, contaminant investigation, contaminant remediation, storm water management, wastewater treatment, permitting projects, or compliance projects in the public and private sectors.
  • Consulting experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and experience interacting with governmental regulatory agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to properly manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring compliance with deliverable timelines.
  • Professional Registration/Certification or ability to attain within two years of hire.
  • Ability to travel within the western regional US.
