Position Summary:
Aquiyel Business Services is in search of an experienced Sales Executive to enhance our forward-thinking approach in the logistics sector. This role focuses on utilizing established connections to link shippers with dedicated routes to asset-based carriers, creating direct and lucrative partnerships while simplifying the traditional freight brokerage model.
Key Responsibilities:
Client and Carrier Engagement:
- Build and sustain robust relationships with shippers and asset-based carriers.
- Identify and connect shippers with dedicated routes to suitable carriers, ensuring mutually advantageous collaborations.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, facilitating a seamless and effective referral process.
Business Development and Strategic Planning:
- Leverage industry expertise and networks to broaden our roster of shippers and carriers.
- Work alongside our internal teams to synchronize referral strategies with organizational objectives.
- Examine market dynamics to formulate strategies that enhance the efficacy of our referral programs.
Technology Utilization:
- Employ advanced technologies to oversee and evaluate the effectiveness of the referral process.
- Engage in training and implement data-driven strategies to maximize partnerships and operational efficiency.
Performance Metrics and Analysis:
- Establish and track key performance indicators to assess the success of the referral initiative.
- Compile reports for senior management detailing referral results, challenges, and potential improvements.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the logistics and transportation field, with a strong background in sales or a related discipline.
- A well-established book of business and solid relationships with both shippers and asset-based carriers.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities, adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software and platforms pertinent to referral and relationship management.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related area is preferred.
