Sales Director

Nexstar Broadcasting is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in our Kansas City market.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with our National Sales Organization to develop and execute sales strategies
- Lead and grow our local account executives to achieve revenue goals
- Maximize revenue on all screens, including television, digital, and OTT platforms
- Pricing and oversight of all national accounts
- Building relationships with the national buying team, including direct relationships with agency buyers, and clients
- Management of all political advertising
- Ability to accurately forecast and budget
- Delivery of all broadcast and digital budgets
- Develop highly creative and innovative marketing campaigns and solutions for clients
- Coach, train, and develop staff
- Prepare, submit, and negotiate sales presentations
- Assist in the recommendation of pricing based on inventory and sell out
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to foster a positive, winning culture
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communications, writing, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Must be well organized, display a professional demeanor, exude high energy, and show attention to detail
- Familiarity with Nielsen, Wide Orbit, and Matrix preferred
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three (3) years of sales management experience, including local and digital sales preferred
