Job Title: Director of Sales

At Smithfield Foods, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize sales volume and margin growth for targeted customers and clients.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and business development, to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, including team development and management.
  • Strong understanding of the Consumer Packaged Goods industry and sales planning, forecasting, and execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
