We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed CT Imaging Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis.

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a CT Imaging Technologist at HCA Florida Northside Hospital, you will be proficient in performing various imaging studies, including brain, total spine, facial, sinus, orbits, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, upper/lower extremities, sella, and biopsies. We prioritize patient care; if you are dedicated to providing quality care, this role may be a great fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:
- Select appropriate technical factors for imaging studies and perform diagnostic CT examinations accurately with compassion and respect.
- Demonstrate thorough operational knowledge of the CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, and teleradiology system.
- Assist in administering contrast media and related procedures.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safety while utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices as indicated.
- Document all relevant clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and promptly.
- Obtain high-quality CT images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
- Maintain proficiency in executing software protocols and stay updated with changes in the field through in-service study, courses, or seminars as necessary.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and other caregivers, including the radiologist.
- Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination, and keep the room stocked with necessary supplies.
- Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications:
- Completion of a 2-year/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited, AMA-approved institution.
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification.
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 100 lbs.
- Minimum of 1 year of current/recent experience in diagnostic radiology (X-Ray), preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
