Sales Representative for Tile and Stone Solutions

ARDEX Americas is a renowned leader in the production and innovation of high-performance building solutions. Our team comprises seasoned professionals and new talent, fostering a culture of growth and stability, where you can significantly influence the building solutions sector.
We are seeking a SALES REPRESENTATIVE FOR TILE AND STONE INSTALLATION SYSTEMS to enhance our NORTHERN CALIFORNIA sales division. This role involves developing both existing and new business relationships with distributor partners, commercial tiling contractors, tiling installers, specifiers, and other influential stakeholders through various methods such as site visits, outreach calls, distributor training, and professional presentations, all while embodying the ARDEX commitment to a customer-centric approach.
This position requires regular travel within the territory, including occasional overnight stays. The compensation package ranges from $80,000 to $120,000, which includes a base salary, commission, and bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accelerate sales growth of ARDEX and Henry products by identifying and seizing new business opportunities.
- Showcase products through engaging demonstrations, presentations, and professional displays.
- Establish and nurture relationships with distributor partners, specialist contractors, general contractors, architects, and other key business influencers.
- Deliver field service and support, including assistance at job starts, bid preparation, and training for distributors and installers.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations, collaborating with our technical team for resources and solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Work closely with corporate resources (Technical, Customer Service, Marketing, Logistics) to ensure exceptional service delivery to ARDEX clients.
- Represent ARDEX as a leader in the industry, maintaining exemplary professional standards and a customer-first mindset.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in outside sales.
- Proficient knowledge of tile and stone installation systems is essential; experience in tile installation is highly desirable.
- Ability to conduct product presentations and demonstrations with confidence and professionalism.
- Capable of operating both power and non-power tools, demonstrating strong mechanical skills to meet the demands of field support.
- Technically knowledgeable, familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements.
- Exhibit a high level of energy and enthusiasm for the business, with a strong customer-driven and professional attitude.
- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; must be willing to travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnight stays.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, with a carrying capacity of 55 pounds.
- A minimum of a four-year college degree is preferred, or a high school diploma with relevant industry experience.
