About the Role

We are seeking a strategic technology leader to join our AWS K-12 Vertical team as a Senior Business Development Manager. This role will focus on driving market development through insightful solutions, programs, and sales campaigns, and will concentrate on highly secure, reliable, and available cloud-based solutions that empower school districts, regional agencies, and state departments of education with advanced data analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify customer and business needs, and develop scalable strategies to seize new business opportunities.
  • Execute in partnership with key internal stakeholders, including sales teams, service teams, and support.
  • Forge strong relationships with sales teams and present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to expanding our reach in the industry.
  • Define and size market segments, identify and engage key customers and partners, including independent software vendors and system integrators.
  • Build business development pipeline by engaging with key prospects and partners.
