Your Role...

The Export Manager will exhibit strong leadership and customer service capabilities. This role is pivotal as the primary representative for customers, overseeing the complete international shipment process from quotation to delivery. As an operations leader, you will maintain productive relationships with Priority Worldwide's international freight forwarding partners and regulatory bodies.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding Export
  • Expertise in Intermodal Exports - Air and Ocean
  • Knowledge of ITAR Shipments and Compliance Regulations
  • Experience in managing a team in a similar capacity
  • Familiarity with CargoWise is preferred
  • Exceptional customer service abilities

Your Responsibilities...

You will be the driving force behind the export team, ensuring the timely, efficient, and cost-effective movement, routing, and occasional quoting of international freight.

Key Duties:

  • Act as a primary contact for all clients, both internal and external, with a relentless focus on delivering the Ultimate Customer Experience.
  • Foster a strong team environment.
  • Engage directly with the assigned export team to ensure awareness of all activities and take a lead role in resolving issues.
  • Ensure the export team operates effectively, responding promptly to clients and adhering to established processes.
  • Develop measurable metrics and objectives to present to the team and management.
  • Assist the Directors of Operations and Compliance with any export compliance-related issues.
  • Manage workload distribution and task assignments for both HQ and remote team members.
  • Inspire and motivate both customers and employees.
  • Lead weekly departmental meetings for the export team.
  • Prepare, review, and present monthly departmental performance metrics.
  • Mentor and train team members, setting and reviewing individual and team goals.
  • Conduct AES filing audits.
  • Address service issues and feedback from operations and sales, including reviewing and initiating CARS.
  • Be prepared to take a hands-on approach as needed to ensure client satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits:
