Your Role

As the Export Department Manager, you will lead a team responsible for managing the international shipment process from initiation to delivery. Your leadership will be essential in fostering strong relationships with clients and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a focus on delivering the Ultimate Customer Experience.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes excellence and accountability.
  • Oversee daily operations of the export team, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Monitor team performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in compliance-related matters and provide support to the Directors of Operations.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to align on goals and share performance metrics.
  • Mentor team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in freight forwarding with a focus on export operations.
  • Proven expertise in air and ocean intermodal exports.
  • Strong understanding of ITAR regulations and compliance.
  • Experience in managing teams in a similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with CargoWise software is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer competitive compensation packages tailored to individual qualifications and experience, including:

  • Annual salary range of $75,000 to $110,000.
