Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated full-time Design Support Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Reporting Structure: This role reports directly to the Creative Director.

Key Responsibilities:

The Design Support Specialist will assist the Design Team throughout the pre-production phase and during the execution of our sophisticated design events. Collaborating closely with the Creative Director and event Designers, this role will ensure the flawless implementation of all design components, including decor, thematic elements, menu innovation, operational logistics, sourcing, graphics, and budget management. A keen eye for detail is essential, as this position will also involve supporting the Creative Director in crafting proposals and sourcing materials.

This role provides an invaluable opportunity to learn our comprehensive design process from initial concept to final execution, while facilitating effective communication among Event Producers, Account Managers, Culinary Teams, Operations, Staffing, and onsite personnel. It is an excellent chance to gain practical experience across various facets of the event production sector.

Requirements:

  • Full-time availability Monday to Friday, with flexibility for evenings and weekends during events.
  • Strong understanding of the creative process, attention to detail, and awareness of industry trends.
  • Preferred background in the food and beverage sector.
  • Design skills are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel within the Bay Area as required for events.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills.

Experience:

  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy event production setting.
  • Prior experience in events, creative roles, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience managing an onsite team and coordinating with third-party vendors.
