If you are passionate about entertainment production, especially in areas such as the art department, art direction, and production design, and have a knack for identifying social media trends while capturing engaging content, we invite you to consider the role of Social Media Marketing Intern. In this position, you will collaborate closely with our Digital Media Manager to create captivating content for a leading cinema and entertainment marketing agency.

Internship Details: This internship is designed for College/University credit and is unpaid. It provides a unique chance to dive into the vibrant realm of entertainment production while developing your skills in content creation and social media marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in strategizing and planning social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok.
  • Conduct research and keep track of trends on all social media platforms.
  • Help in drafting scripts for promotional and informational video content.
  • Support the scouting of filming locations and the creation of social media content.
  • Edit both static and motion video content utilizing graphic design and video editing software.
  • Engage actively in content creation videos, demonstrating enthusiasm and creativity.
  • Organize personal tasks and manage workflows using Asana, a project management tool.
  • Contribute to the execution of marketing strategies and promotional activities for both the company and its clients.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly (NDA and Social Media Policy compliance required).

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree at an accredited institution.
  • Access to transportation for in-person workdays.
  • Availability to commit 10-15 hours per week.
  • Strong research abilities with a focus on social media trends and audience interaction.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software for static content editing.
  • Experience with video editing software (such as CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere) for video content editing.
  • Comfortable on camera with a natural talent for engaging an audience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine interest in entertainment production, particularly in the art department, art direction, and production design.
