Position Overview

At GuardTexas, we pride ourselves on nearly 50 years of dedicated service in the security industry. Our team consists of over 900 security professionals who cater to a diverse range of sectors, including commercial properties, residential areas, construction sites, and retail environments.

The Security Supervisor plays a crucial role in protecting assets by conducting regular patrols and monitoring for any signs of theft, violence, safety concerns, or disturbances through vigilant observation and detailed reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.
  • Conduct routine inspections of buildings and surrounding areas to identify and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Perform checks on security features such as doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.
  • Document daily activities and any irregularities, including property damage or unusual occurrences.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and disturbances, coordinating with emergency services as necessary.
  • Educate individuals on security policies and address any violations.
  • Assist in emergency evacuations and manage crowd control when required.
  • Other duties as assigned by management or as needed based on client requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Must meet all licensing criteria for Security Guards, including passing a criminal background check.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient with computers and basic social media applications.
  • Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations and utilize critical thinking skills.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks that involve considerable use of arms and legs, including climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
