Job Summary:

GardaWorld Security Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Route Production Transportation Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing first-line supervision and leadership to a team of secured transportation employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of secured transportation employees to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and schedule armored and ATM routes to meet customer requirements and assist with route adjustments as needed.
  • Assign vehicles to designated routes and maintain contact with the vehicle services department.
  • Consult with and receive direction from the Branch Manager on a daily basis.
  • Complete daily billing and route productivity reports.
  • Assist with payroll, incentives, workers' compensation, and accident reports.
  • Order uniforms and supplies.
  • Maintain branch security during opening, closing, and operating hours.
  • Secure inventories by executing controls and ensuring strict compliance with security procedures.
  • Proactively reduce risk exposure and implement measures to reduce workers' compensation injury costs and security losses.
  • Assist with the processing and training of new employees.
  • Monitor branch cleanliness.
  • Report violations of company rules and policies/procedures.
  • Fulfill temporary duties at other locations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in transportation or a related logistics field.
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • This is an armed position requiring local and state permits or licenses to carry a sidearm.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • May require a valid Commercial Drivers License with no air-brake restrictions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven track record of engaging workgroups to accomplish assigned tasks through clear oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors in person and by radio or telephone.
  • Familiarity with the Drivers Guide to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Pocketbook.
